Avalon waives single supplement on European itineraries
For single travellers looking to take a European river cruise in 2017, Avalon Waterways has waived the single supplement on all bookings made by January 3, 2017.
Applicable on all of Avalon’s almost 30 European itineraries in 2017, there will be five cabins set aside for solo travellers on every sailing. The itineraries range in length from eight to 24 days, with many themed departures available.
“Our solo passengers love the comfort and security on board our ships,” said Stéphanie Bishop, managing director of Avalon Waterways in Canada. “Plus if you act quickly, this can also be a great opportunity for two friends to travel together – each with their own stateroom!”
Avalon features a fleet of new vessels – none more than seven years old – with the majority of staterooms featuring beds that face the wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling windows.
