This advice is from the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority…
Pack creams or lotions of 100 ml or less in a 1 L clear plastic bag. Larger quantities must be packed in your checked bag.
- Store your camera and other small electronic devices (smartphone, tablet, etc.) in your carry-on bag.
- Prescription and essential non-prescription meds may be packed in your carry-on bag.
- If they are labelled, they will be screened quickly. Have them ready to present to the screening officer.
- Leave sharp items such as pocket knives at home or pack them in your checked baggage.
- Drink up or discard your bottled water before security. This applies to all beverages including juices and coffee.
- Have your boarding pass ready to show to screening officers.
- Place coins, keys and small metal items in your carry-on before you reach security to avoid setting off the metal detector.
Enjoy your travel experience!
