We are excited to see corporate travel picking back up. As airlines and airports continue to ramp up and navigate unprecedented demand, you will want to take any opportunity available to fast-track the process of moving through lineups and border crossings.
The good news is that Nexus is back!
Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection recently announced the reopening of all NEXUS enrolment centres in Canadian airports by April 24th. This update will expand the program’s capacity and help travellers get their NEXUS cards faster.
Good for 5 years, pre-approved low-risk Nexus card holders literally get to jump the line when entering Canada and the US.
Run jointly by the Canada Border Services Agency and U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Nexus is available to Canadian citizens and Permanent Residents that meet certain conditions.

The application fee is $50 USD and children under 18 can apply for free. The process can be completed within 30 business days of receipt and requires an in-person interview.

A word to the wise, be sure to follow the terms and conditions of the program. You’ll lose your Nexus privileges and your membership will be cancelled if you violate any terms, and you won’t be able to reapply for a period of time based on the reason for the cancellation.
